Football: Oman coach announces squad for camp in Muscat

MUSCAT: Oman National Football Team coach, Pim Verbeek, has announced the squad to attend the internal camp which will be held in Muscat from November 27 to December 1.

The 10 players from Dhofar Club who will take part in the camp are Mohammed Al Masalami, Ali Al Busaidi, Salah Al Yayaei, Ali Salim, Harib Al Saadi, Al Munther Al Alawi, Mutaz Saleh, Hatim Al Roshdi, Abdukllah Fawaz, and reserve goalkeeper Bilal Al Balushi.

From Al Nasr Club, the players are Mahmoud Al Meshaifri, Khalid Al Buraiki, Khalid Al Hajri, and Ahmed Al Rawahi.

The players representing Al Nahdha Club are Mohammed Al Shebah, Ali Al Jabri, Nasser Al Shamli, Ahmed Al Ka'abi, and Mohammed Khaseeb.

The players from Al Suwaiq Club are Yasin Al Shiyadi, Mohsibn Al Ghassani and Amar Al Rasheedi.

Al Shabab Club players joining the camp are Esam Al Subhi and Arshad Al Alawi and the only player from Saham Club is Mohammed Al Ghassani.

It is worth mentioning that this is the first time a player from Saham Club, Mohamed Al Ghassani, top scorer of Omantel League with (8 goals) to join the camp in response to the media and the public. The final camp for the national team will be held in Dubai, UAE.

The final squad of the national team for the Asian Football Cup would probably be Ali Al Habsi, Mohammed Al Masalami, Khalid Al Buraiki, Ali Salim, Ali Al Busaidi, Ahmed Kano, Harib Al Saadi, Mohsin Jawhar, Jamil Al Yahmadi, Raid Ibrahim and Khalid Al Hajri.
